Purchase Agreement

Please open and read each clause before signing. These are the terms you are agreeing to.

Buyer agrees to pay the purchase price shown above, plus any delivery fee selected in this agreement, in full before the puppy is released or transported. Deposits are applied against that total. No puppy leaves our care against a promise of later payment.

Buyer agrees to have the puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian of Buyer's own choosing within 72 hours of collection or delivery, at Buyer's expense. This examination is the condition on which the Health Guarantee depends. Failing to obtain it voids the guarantee entirely.

Seller guarantees the puppy against life-threatening congenital and hereditary defects for two years from date of birth, on the terms set out in full on the Health Guarantee page, which forms part of this agreement.

Buyer agrees to keep the dog as an indoor family member, to provide proper nutrition, clean water, routine veterinary care including vaccination and parasite prevention, and daily exercise and companionship. The dog will not be kept chained, permanently kennelled, or housed outdoors.

Buyer agrees to continue socialisation and basic obedience training. For buyers new to the breed, Seller asks that a group puppy class be completed within the first three months. Seller remains available for training guidance for the life of the dog at no cost.

Seller describes each puppy's temperament accurately as observed before sale. Temperament in an adult dog is shaped substantially by handling, training and environment after it leaves Seller's care, and Seller cannot be held liable for behaviour arising afterwards.

Where a crop has been performed it was carried out by a licensed veterinarian at an appropriate age. Where ears are natural, they remain the Buyer's decision and expense thereafter. Cropping requested after collection is entirely a matter between Buyer and Buyer's own veterinarian.

Puppies are placed on a pet contract unless breeding rights have been separately agreed in writing. Buyer agrees to spay or neuter at the age recommended by their own veterinarian for a large working breed, and to notify Seller once done.

If Buyer can no longer keep the dog at any point in its life, for any reason, Seller must be contacted first. Seller will take the dog back or assist in rehoming it. The dog may never be surrendered to a shelter, pound, laboratory, pet store, or sold or given to a third party without Seller's prior written approval.

This agreement is governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky. It represents the entire agreement between the parties and supersedes any prior verbal understanding. If any clause is found unenforceable, the remainder stays in force.
